A brief look at Lindsay’s journey through breast cancer

When Lindsay first heard the words “you have breast cancer”, she was only 31. The mass didn’t have any of the usual red flags – it moved, it hurt – nothing about its symptoms were “normal”.

Her journey wasn’t simple, nor was it pretty. The chemo that was saving her life was nearly ending it at the same time due to it weakening her heart. This forced her doctors to stop before it broke her body completely. But somehow, even in the middle of that storm, Lindsay refused to lose her light.

She’s faced more loss than most of us could imagine, yet here she stands. Strong. Grounded. Using her story to serve others. After surviving cancer, Lindsay found her calling in mammography, helping women catch what almost went unnoticed in her own life.

That’s what this campaign is about. Real women. Real battles. Real strength. Lindsay’s story is a reminder that awareness isn’t just about pink ribbons – it’s about early detection, listening to your body, and showing up for yourself no matter what it looks like.
