Why I Started This Campaign

As a photographer and as a breast cancer survivor, I know the power of stories and the importance of awareness. She’s in Focus: Beyond the Ribbon was created to shine a light on real people and their experiences with breast cancer — because behind every ribbon is a story that matters.

This campaign is about awareness, education, and legacy. It’s about reminding people to take their health seriously, to encourage early detection, and to honor the journeys of those who have faced breast cancer.

Mission Statement

She’s in Focus: Beyond the Ribbon exists to shine a light on the real faces and stories of breast cancer warriors and survivors. Through powerful portraits and personal stories, this campaign promotes early detection, encourages self-examination, and reminds our community of the life-saving importance of regular checkups. Our goal is to inspire action, foster connection, and let every fighter know — they are seen, they are supported, and they are never alone.
